The furniture painting trend has been around for a while. It started off by just painting one color on a piece. The big trend was white...paint all the things white! We've come a long way since then.
Whether its a curbside pick or garage sale castoff, any piece of furniture can be turned into a conversation piece; a real work of art, with just a little time and paint. The trend has moved to creating several layers of depth within a piece. You might say the bold colors just aren't your style and it's too much for your decor, but you would be surprised how stunning a pop of color can be in a neutral room.
If neutral colors are your thing, there are many ways to add interest and dimension with a soft pallet. Using dark wax or glaze on a white piece makes the details pop. Or maybe blending some grey in the corners of the drawers to add some definition. You can also add gilding wax to raised edges of a piece to make them stand out.
There are so many combinations and options with our Dixie Belle Paint line, we can help you make the best choices for your piece!
